Easter Thoughts

You don't really understand human nature unless you know why a child on a merry-go-round will wave at his parents every time around - and why his parents will always wave back. ~William D. Tammeus

Easter has become my favorite holiday over the past few years. I see it in a different perspective. I can't help but to think of Mary and how she had to watch as her son, her child, hung on a cross and suffered a cruel, cruel death for my sins. I cannot imagine the pain that she suffered. I imagine that she found it hard to even breathe.........
A preacher told a story a few weeks ago of how his daughter was scratched right below the eye by a dog when she was 3. As he stood there, weak in the knees, watching the doctor's wrap his 3 year old daughter tightly in a sheet, so that she would not fight them as the needle went towards her eye, all he could do was look her in the eyes, as her father, and say "Trust Me". I think that this was the case for Jesus and Mary. Jesus was hanging on a cross, Mary was helpless and they were both tightly wrapped, bound by this situation but listening to God as he said, "Trust me". God is so faithful if we will just trust him. Too many times we try to take things into our own hands and do things our way (my way is usually the wrong way) Jesus could have called 10,000 angels, but he chose God's way and God's way is Perfect! What an example, what a love, what a mighty God!
Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for my sins and saving my soul.
He is not here.....He Has Risen!!!!!
